The AI news app that made reading feel fast again.

When I was a kid, my father made me summarize two newspapers every weekend. I always wanted a tool that did that automatically, in the time it takes to drink a coffee. FlashFeed was that tool. An AI-powered news app that delivered personalized 60-word summaries and, later, 5-minute curated audio briefings you could listen to while driving. The audio briefing was the breakthrough, the feature that drove the most growth because it fit into real life.

Grew to 65,000+ active users with 13-minute average session times. Content pipeline sourced from 1,000+ publications. Available on iOS and Android. Acquired by Hokenson Group in 2025.

Halfway

Love is 50/50. Rent shouldn't be.

A friend complained about manually calculating proportional rent splits every month. I built Halfway in a weekend using Lovable. Then another friend asked. Then another. It's now a full couples budgeting app with income-based expense splitting, shared budgets, net worth tracking, and Penny, an AI assistant with full account context.

Available on iOS, Android, and web. 300+ users with zero paid marketing. Proof that the fastest path to product-market fit is solving a real problem for real people.

SmartPOP

A 4-in-1 phone grip that took on PopSocket and won on Amazon.

Moved to Canada in 2018 and noticed PopSocket had monopolized the phone grip category on Amazon. Built a multi-functional alternative: a 3mm slim grip that combined a finger hold, magnetic ring, kickstand, and ultra-slim profile in one product.

Launched in Canada. Expanded to the US, India, and the UK. Sold 28,000+ units across four countries. Managed sourcing, inventory, demand planning, and logistics entirely solo.
